Callaly Creates a New Category in Menstrual Health

Gennev Creates the First Telemedicine Menopause Clinic

In this episode, Dr. Alyssa Dweck and Rachel have a conversation with special guest Jill Angelo, founder of Gennev, the first ever online clinic for women in menopause. Together, they talk about menopause, what women are seeking for their own menopausal health and the impact that menopause has on the economy as well as the physical self.

 

First, Jill candidly shares how she began her career in tech and shifted "from tech to lube." Next, she explains how she laid the groundwork for Gennev by speaking with 1500 women to conduct research surrounding their menopause education, health and mindset. I’m Dr. Alyssa Dweck. I’m a gynecologist, surgeon and author. I speak vagina. I think the v is super cool to know about but not always so hip to talk about.

What is that itch or worse that bump? What keeps you up at night when it comes to your v health? We will explore what’s on other women’s minds when it comes to periods, hormones, breasts, butts and sex.

I am Rachel Braun Scherl. I am a marketing strategist, business builder and vagipreneur,  a person in the business of women’s sexual and reproductive health.

It’s complicated! Big challenges mean big business.   We will introduce you to some of the most fascinating creators, inventors, thought leaders, health care professions and investors in the space.   These are the people that make things happen.
